Photo Contest: Reveal your .pt - 2015

The .PT has launched a photo contest with the theme "Reveal your pt." The final goal was to portray Portugal and some of its identity values. Each photo submitted to the contest portrayed the following values ​​that, for the purpose, were identified as categories: Passion, Hospitality and Entrepreneurship.

The winners were:

 Category 1: Passion

1st place - Rui Gonçalves author of the photography "Symbols of pride" – Fundação Champalimaud, Lisbon

2º lugar paixao

2nd place - André Borges author of the photography "Portuguese guitar" - Braga

3º lugar paixao

3rd place - Miguel Ferreira author of the photography "A tradition, a culture" - Sesimbra

Honorable Mention - João Coutinho, author of the photograph "Alma Lusa" - Costa da Caparica



Category 2: Hospitality

1º classified - Carla Santos author of the photography "The comfort and the serenity of the field" - Aldeia do Piódão

The selected works were used to development a .pt institutional campaign.

The winners received the following prizes:

1st place by category:

  • € 500 voucher from the Colorfoto store in Lisbon and Porto
  • 3-in-1 voucher that includes a one-year offer of a .pt domain, a website creation tool, hosting and e-mail boxes.
  • Signature of the magazine O Mundo do Fotografia for twelve months
2nd place by category:
  • Voucher for the 27-hour Photographic Technique Workshop of the Portuguese Institute of Photography
  • 3-in-1 voucher that includes a one-year offer of a .pt domain, a website creation tool, hosting and e-mail boxes.
  • Signature of the magazine O Mundo do Fotografia for six months

 3rd place by category:

  • Voucher for the 12-hour Night Photography Workshop of the Portuguese Institute of Photography
  • 3-in-1 voucher that includes a one-year offer of a .pt domain, a website creation tool, hosting and e-mail boxes.
  • Signature of the magazine O Mundo do Fotografia for three months
