.PT supports the NET Viva e Segura initiative

NET VIVA E SEGURA is a national initiative of Google and DECO, with the support of .PT, which invites the educational community to produce videos demonstrating the importance of participating in social media in safety and with respect for privacy, in three categories: Share carefully; Secure connections; and Courtesy is not a fantasy.

All young people between the ages of 16 and 22, attending DECOJovem schools in Portugal, Madeira and Azores can participate. Teams composed of three students of the same level of education and a teacher, who will be responsible for the team's monitoring, shall be constituted. The same team may submit more than one video, but in different categories.
