.PT supports innovation program for university students

The Future Innovators Program of the Unicorn Factory Lisboa has just been launched in partnership with .PT, José de Mello, Sonae and Claranet, and is aimed at young students at Portuguese universities who want to take the first steps on their entrepreneurship journey. It already has more than 500 university students enrolled.

This program is divided into three phases - digital academy, hackathons and pre-acceleration program -, where a global winner will be awarded on a Demo Day. On the weekend of May 18th and 19th, Porto hosted the Future Innovators Program Hackathon. Participants faced several challenges, including the one proposed by .PT: Connecting New Generations to Our Grandparents’ Villages, whose objective was to strengthen the connection between young people and the elderly, promoting intergenerational interaction.
