.PT participates in Internet Governance Forum 2024

The .PT will participate in Open Forum #75: The Portuguese Speaking Community as a case study on digital cooperation. This session takes place on December 18, 2024, at 12:45 PM, via Zoom at https://sched.co/1sYzL.

Promoted by ANACOM - National Communications Authority, this session, part of the IGF - Internet Governance Forum 2024, will be an opportunity to explore how digital cooperation among Portuguese-speaking countries has driven inclusion, innovation, and digital transformation.

This forum on digital cooperation in Portuguese-speaking countries features the participation of Sandra Maximiano, Chair of the Board of Directors at ANACOM; Leonilde Santos, President of ARCTEL-CPLP; Luisa Ribeiro Lopes, President of .PT; Marta Moreira Dias, President of LusNIC; Mozart Tenório, Advisor to the Presidency of ANATEL; Rafael Evangelista, Board Member of CGI.br; and David Gomes, Executive Secretary of ARCTEL-CPLP.

This Open Forum will address Lusophone digital cooperation as a case study, highlighting the achievements and progress it has made. The session will also enable a joint reflection on the future of cooperation within the Lusophone space, considering the rapid evolution of the digital ecosystem.

The Internet Governance Forum 2024 will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from December 15 to 19, 2024.
