.PT and IAPMEI join forces to boost national entrepreneurship

.PT and IAPMEI signed a cooperation protocol this Tuesday with the goal of strengthening the national entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Through this agreement, both entities commit to developing and supporting new ideas and businesses that have a strong digital identity or make good use of available technology. The aim is for .PT and IAPMEI to jointly promote the growth and competitiveness of Portuguese start-ups and SMEs.

The partnership includes the provision of human and technological resources from both parties for the co-creation of innovative solutions and the joint development of training and qualification programs, mentoring, or internships. The agreement also includes the joint organization of events and the sharing of information.

"A secure and trustworthy online presence is essential for the success of any business. Today, it is difficult to thrive without an effective digital strategy. Aware of this reality, we want to empower Portuguese entrepreneurs to develop their businesses online,” highlights Luisa Ribeiro Lopes, Chair of the Board of Directors of .PT. "We are confident that we will provide even stronger support to companies and entrepreneurs in the digital realm.”

The cross-promotion of relevant initiatives for their respective target audiences, through the communication channels of both entities, is also part of the signed protocol.
